NaNoWriMo
I just broke 10,000 words. Go me!
If I can keep this up (and I'm pretty sure that I have more than enough plot mapped out to do so,) I'll have broken 50,000 before we are half way through the month. ^_^

Yesterday we went to Shrewsbury - well, that is Menace and myself. Hubby was at work although we did travel to Shrewsbury on his train. It was very warm yesterday too. I ended up taking my coat off and I was STILL too warm. The weather is weird. :/
Anyhow, we did the usual rounds of the Charity shops. There was a book I would have bought from the Oxfam Bookshop if it hadn't had a small tear on the cover. I can wait until I see a better copy. :/
what I did get though, was an addition to my Cool Cats collection.
It only cost me £1.50 too. ^_^
Then I passed by a jewellers and bought a couple of necklaces I'd had my eye on a few months back.
I'd been wearing the same necklace for ages so I thought I could do with a change. ^_^
Also NaNoWriMo starts today. I haven't actually started writing yet, but I did read through my notes before I went to bed last night. I will start writing later on today though. The hardest part is going to be getting the first sentence down. It should flow pretty easily once I've done that.
It's just a shame I couldn't finish one of the stories I was writing for practice. I didn't have too far to go, but it's going to have to wait until I've done NaNo now. Oh well.
Yeah, we put the clocks back last weekend. I'm still totally fucked up though - I can't seem to get myself turned around and the days have seemed abnormally long. I honestly prefer it when we lose an hour.
Also, I went to my parent's house yesterday. It was an OK day, nothing out of the ordinary. My dad tried to nick my USB Stig (see icon). what the hell would he want it for anyway?
Then I turned the bathroom light on and it blew. Great. Why does it have to happen when I turn it on? Cue my mum and my brother taking the piss out of me for practically having a panic attack. Not funny.
It is also very warm for the time of year. Yesterday the temperature was about 18c, which, when you consider that it'll be November on Sunday, brings home just how unseasonal it is.
Oh well - maybe I'll manage to get myself straightened out with the hour by the end of the week. :/
